Abstract

International trade is an important sector of the Brazilian economy, being responsible for the movement of billions of dollars every year, the most widely used mode in international trade operations is shipping. Undoubtedly, the port sector is very relevant in the world economic context, since it is in ports that most of the foreign trade takes place. However, international trade operations via the sea transport route require well-planned logistics, usually at high costs, albeit lower than other modes of long-distance transport. The port towing service consists of the mooring and unblocking operations of vessels arriving at the port, carried out by vessels designed for this purpose, in this context it is important to consider the role of port support tugboats engaged in the mooring and unloading of ships At the terminals, rescue missions of damaged vessels, firefighting
and rescue personnel. Proper and efficient infrastructure and operation on the landside are essential to the operation of the maritime side, enabling ships to stay in a fast and efficient way and access to cribs without waiting.
