Abstract

Scientific research aims to show the importance and the necessary care for the safe handling of dangerous ammonia cargo, which is used as a chemical base for several chemical products, such as hygiene, cleaning, pharmaceuticals, fertilizer compounds, among others. . A large amount of ammonium nitrate is transported and stored daily, so this work aims to enable the control and prevention of accidents according to current safety standards.
