As facetas da inteligência emocional: uma proposta para estruturar pesquisas futuras

Resumo

O objetivo deste artigo é entender as origens dos estudos sobre a Inteligência Emocional, aclarar o conceito e identificar o estado atual da pesquisa. Foi conduzido um estudo quantitativo, por meio de uma pesquisa bibliométrica com análises de citação e cocitação. Foram selecionados 9.048 artigos, publicados até 2021, na base Web of Science. Uma revisão bibliográfica do tema pode auxiliar no mapeamento das principais abordagens e clarear os pilares conceituais construídos, de modo a sintetizar descobertas de pesquisas anteriores, facilitar a divulgação do conhecimento e, assim, contribuir para o avanço dessa corrente específica de pesquisa. Foram identificados os autores mais profícuos, os artigos mais influentes, as principais abordagens conceituais adotadas e a construção colaborativa sobre o tema. Este artigo contribui ao retratar a trajetória percorrida no desenvolvimento da estrutura conceitual de pesquisa sobre Inteligência Emocional e incentivar novas avenidas de pesquisa.
